Four Incredibly Close Restaurants

Being surrounded by Reykjavik, our guests have endless possibilities when it comes to dining and drinking close to the hotel. But there are four restaurants that are right at our doorsteps which can be handy on one of the very rare occasions when weather is terrible in Reykjavik. Here goes:
-Bergsson Mathús of course. Where you get your breakfast is also a great place for a hearty lunch with as much natural and healthy ingredients as possible. They are even open into the evening but we wouldn´t necessarily recommend a romantic dinner at Bergsson. It´s really more of a casual local spot.
-Skólabrú is in the old beige house to the left when you exit the building. A popular choice for a couple of decades and you can do a lot worse for a traditional meal of lobster soup and braised Icelandic lamb for example. Can´t go wrong with that really.
-Gandhi is in the cellar of the Skólabrú and is by many regarded as one of the city´s best kept secrets when it comes to Asian food. Fairly priced and lovingly prepared, this is worth a visit if you are tired of traditional/authentic Icelandic food.
-O-Sushi the Train is in the building next to Skólabrú and Gandhi. As you can imagine, it is a quick and fun way of eating sushi or just adore it passing you by on plates on the rotating table in front of you. This is a great choice for lunch or a lively dinner if you do in fact like Sushi, which we all do in Iceland.
