The word "Kvosin" is the local word for the center of downtown Reykjavik. It is not an overstatement to say that we have the best location for anyone who wants to stay in downtown Reykjavik. We are right behind the parliament building and the national cathedral, both of whom shield us from the noise that other hotels have to endure only 100 meters away while still keeping us within minutes walking distance of all the best restaurants and attractions of the downtown area.

Aveda Amenities
Boring, odor free soap is not an option for a hotel full of character such as ours. Each room has Aveda toiletries from the Rosemary Mint line. Shampoo, Conditioner and Hand & Body wash keep you fresh each day before or after an exciting day of exploring our city. It ain´t cheap, but then again, neither are our rooms.
Room Size
We are a hotel because of the services we provide but our rooms cannot really be considered mere rooms. They are suites, studios, apartments. Whatever the word may be, when you book with us, you are not getting the tiny boxes you can expect in many other European hotels. Our smallest category still fits a kitchenette and a sofa besides the sleeping area and bathroom. True comfort in a premium real estate area.
Self Catering
Here, you are surrounded by outstanding dining options. Literally within a couple of minutes walking distance, you have a dozen top rated restaurants. However, if you want to try your hand at cooking some local produce, we also have a stovetop for you with pans and all the utilities needed to enjoy a great night in with a meal to remember. Fridge drawer also included.
Nespresso Coffee
We recommend water from the tap when you are in Iceland. It´s just about the only thing that´s free round these parts. Except when you stay with us. Then you also get a perfect cup of coffee in the room through our Nespresso machines. Once you´ve tried it, you´ll know why we´re boasting. If tea is more your thing, no problem. We´ve got great Higher Living tea too.
