You think you know Reykjavik? Well, not unless Auður Ösp says so. She is the one woman show behind the now world famous blog I Heart Reykjavik, sharing her love for our city with the world village and doing amazing things like trying to teach them the Icelandic language via a short podcast. 

 

Auður does not just sit in front of a computer all day, thinking of ways to write about Reykjavik. She runs her very own walking tour that features some great sights you do not find on your run-of-the-mill bus tour of the city. The tour includes some awesome street art and history that you won´t find on other tours and we would go as far as to say that her tour is a must do for our guests. 

 

Auður also does her bit for charity. Once a week she has a small dinner gathering at home and all you have to do is donate a minimum of 2.500isk to the Children´s Hospital. Well worth it to enjoy a meal and chat with someone that can share such a wealth of knowledge and ideas about her fair city. 

 

We did try to include her tour in a package once but she was too busy to be able to accommodate everyone so we do recommend you book ahead and make sure you read the blog as much as possible.
